Come and spend a couple of hours surrounded by dahlias and learn more about growing, cutting and caring for these fabulous flowers.
£40, 2-2.5 hours.
We will cover how to get the best from your plants and cut flowers, when and how to cut blooms, spotting when flowers are past their best, lifting and dividing tubers, and storing them successfully over winter. We will also take a look at propagating dahlias and the fascinating world of growing new varieties from seed and cross-pollinating your own flowers.
This will be a relaxed, practical workshop with plenty of opportunity to ask questions, get hands-on and, while the dahlias are still blooming their socks off, pick a jug of flowers to take home too. No previous experience needed.

Spend roughly 2 hours picking your own flowers (and selecting from brought in varieties when available) and using them to create a fabulous flower arrangement under Jo’s supervision and guidance.
£37.50, roughly 2 hours.
Guided PYO and guided create your own. All equipment and materials provided. No previous experience needed. Any flowers picked an not used in your arrangement are yours to take home too.

Come along and make your own Christmas wreath from scratch in a relaxed, small-group workshop.
Starting with mossing your own wreath base you will then add fresh seasonal foliage before finishing your wreath with your choice of decorations and ribbon.
Workshops are limited to just 8 people, last around 2½–3 hours and cost £55 per person. All materials are included, along with light refreshments.
No experience needed, just come along and enjoy making something lovely for your door.

You can book a private group Wreath Workshop here at MaiHaven if there are 6 or more of you.
You can also book a private Wreath Workshop for your workplace at your workplace (no homes sorry) if there are 10 or more of you. We can bring all the equipment and materials to you. We just need somewhere with good lighting and enough space for everyone to work and we will do the rest.
