About MaiHaven Flowers
MaiHaven Flowers is a small-scale flower farm and florist studio in Adisham, near Canterbury, where every stem is grown with care and creativity. Seasonal, sustainable flowers are at the heart of everything I do, from seed to bouquet.
Alongside growing a wide range of beautiful blooms, I create natural, garden-inspired floristry for weddings, farewells, workshops and everyday moments.
Whether you’re picking your own, choosing a hand-tied bunch, or ordering flowers for a special occasion, every bouquet and design is carefully curated for colour, texture and meaning, using the best seasonal flowers available.
Meet Jo (and Maisie)
I’m Jo, the grower behind MaiHaven Flowers. My career has taken me in many directions — from vet nursing and lecturing to dog training and behaviour work — but growing flowers has become my true passion. What started as a small idea in March 2024 quickly grew into a flower farm, and now I love sharing the beauty of fresh, locally grown flowers with others.
The name MaiHaven is inspired by Maisie, my much-loved dog, as well as the farm site itself, which has become our own little haven. Being surrounded by flowers and nature has been incredibly important to me, and I hope that when you visit, you’ll find a little bit of that peace and joy too.
In July 2025, I completed my floristry training with The Sussex Flower School, and I’m now able to offer floristry items to order — including bouquets, farewell flowers, wedding pieces, and other special commissions using flowers grown here at MaiHaven.
Maisie is often around on the farm, keeping an eye on things (or enjoying a well-earned nap in the shade).
