Pick Your Own Flowers

Enjoy a relaxed and memorable experience wandering through our flower paddocks, choosing your own fresh, seasonal blooms. Whether you're picking for a special occasion, a gift, or simply to brighten your home, our flowers are grown with care and ready for you to handpick.

Our PYO season runs from May to October, with different flowers blooming throughout the year. No experience is needed - just bring your love for flowers, and we will provide everything else.

How Pick Your Own Works

Step into the flower fields and create your own beautiful bunch. Whether you are picking for a gift, a special occasion, or just for the joy of it, we make it easy and enjoyable for everyone.

How Much Time Should I Allow?

  • Jar – Up to 1 hour

  • Jug – Up to 1.5 hours

  • Bucket – Up to 2 hours

Jo will give you some initial guidance on how and what to pick and be on hand if you have any questions. Take your time exploring the flowers, selecting your favourites, and soaking up the peaceful atmosphere.

What Happens After Picking?

Once you’ve gathered your flowers, they will be tied into a hand-held bunch for you to take home. If you’d like them gift-wrapped, just let me know - I can wrap them for you upon request.

Can I Share a Jar, Jug, or Bucket?

Yes. Friends and family can share a container - just pick together and divide the blooms however you like. You are also welcome to bring a friend or family member along who is not picking - they can enjoy the atmosphere while accompanying you.

What is a Guided PYO Jar or Jug?

A Guided Pick Your Own session includes Jo joining you during your visit, not necessarily for the whole time, but for most of it offering friendly, hands-on support as you wander through the flower paddocks. You can enjoy a peaceful picking experience with help choosing and cutting your own beautiful mix of blooms, along with tips on selecting, snipping, and conditioning flowers. At the end of your session, Jo will wrap your flowers into a beautiful hand-tied bunch for you to take home, with your input.

Want to Pick More?

You can add extra jars, jugs or buckets at 15% off either when booking online or when you arrive (subject to availability of containers). There is a maximum limit of 3 containers per booking.

What Should I Wear?

Our flower paddocks are outdoors and natural, so please come prepared for the weather and uneven ground:
✔ Comfortable shoes (trainers or boots—no sandals/heels)
✔ Clothes you don’t mind brushing against plants
✔ Sun hat & sunscreen in warm weather

Bringing Children to Pick Your Own

Well-behaved children are welcome to join you in the flower paddocks, but please be aware that our environment is peaceful, and PYO is a slow, mindful activity. Many young children lose interest quickly, and parents often find that leaving them at home makes for a more relaxing and enjoyable visit.  To ensure an enjoyable experience for all visitors:
✔ Children must stay close to their parents and be supervised at all times.
✔ No running or shouting (this applies to both children and adults), we aim to maintain a calm, peaceful space for all guests.
✔ Any damage to flowers must be paid for.
✔ Please be mindful of other guests who are here to enjoy a quiet, relaxing visit.

If you’re unsure whether PYO is the right fit for your child, feel free to reach out, we are happy to help.

What About the Weather?

We are flexible with the great British weather. If the forecast looks bad, we can reschedule your booking at no extra cost. If in doubt, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to help. We do also have undercover areas for those surprise British showers.
