This gives families and loved ones the chance to spend quiet, reflective time together, to be involved in choosing flowers or creating tributes themselves, if they wish, and to take part in a meaningful way before the funeral.
Whether you're looking for a simple, hand-picked tribute or a thoughtfully arranged farewell piece, I offer flexible options to suit your wishes, created with care, using flowers grown with love.

Picked For You & Made For You
(Traditional Farewell Floristry)
Traditional farewell flowers with a natural touch. Share your wishes and I will take care of everything. We can discuss your wishes on the phone, or make an appointment for loved ones to come along and discuss while viewing the flowers. You are welcome to walk in the flower paddocks and let me know any flowers you would like me to include. I will create a seasonal tribute using flowers grown here (and occasionally supplemented from other British growers), designed in a natural, foam-free or bio-foam based style. Spend time picking your own flowers and leave them with me to create your tribute/s. A perfect balance between being involved and allowing someone else to take care of the details.

You pay for your flowers per bucket as shown below, and for my time in creating your items at £50 per hour, which includes all sundries. We will estimate together how many buckets and how much time you are likely to need. Any flowers not used in your farewell items are yours to keep.
Pick Your Own, or Picked For You & Create Here Together (Studio Session)
Join Jo in the flower studio to pick and arrange the tribute over two days. On day one, you’ll gather the flowers in the paddocks and leave them here to be conditioned. On day two, return to the studio to create your chosen tribute/s with guidance and peaceful space to reflect. Tools, materials, and light refreshments included.
You pay for your flowers per bucket as below and for time in the studio. Studio time is £110 for up to 2.5 hours and £40 for each additional hour. We will estimate how many buckets of flowers and how much studio time you are likely to need based on what tributes you would like.
You are not charged per item we create. Any flowers not used in your farewell tributes are yours to take home. You can bring up to 6 people with you for the flower picking and studio sessions. There is the option to add professionally made pieces as well. Take the farewell tributes away with you after your studio session or they can be delivered.

Spend time in the flower paddocks selecting your own blooms, or let Jo gather them for you. Although much less frequently done than with wedding flowers, you can create a tribute at home, alone or with loved ones. This can be a peaceful and meaningful time before the funeral.

Let Jo do the picking for you. Potluck PFY Buckets are filled with a beautiful selection of fresh, seasonal flowers, chosen from the best blooms available at the time. No specific colour choice, there will be a mix, although Jo will try to select any specifically wanted blooms where possible.

Private Pick Your Own (PYO) sessions or Picked For You (PFY) collections/deliveries are organised 2–3 days before the funeral. Buckets contain roughly 50 stems, but can vary from 40-60 stems depending on the size of the blooms. I can help you estimate how many stems/buckets might be needed depending on the tribute you want to create.

My Flower Sourcing Promise
Whenever possible, I use flowers and foliage grown here at MaiHaven for my funeral and farewell arrangements. When something special is needed that I can not grow myself, or if I do not have it in stock, I follow my cascade sourcing system: first reaching out to nearby growers, then to other UK flower farms, and only if needed, to trusted wholesalers who may source internationally.
This gives me the flexibility to create heartfelt tributes with the freshest, most meaningful flowers available, grown locally whenever possible and always selected with care, respect, and intention. I will always discuss with you where your flowers are coming from, if they are not grown here.
